Since Ritter acknowledges in the article that the Iraqis not only lied to the inspectors and kept inspectors out of facilities sometimes for months at a time, how does he know that the 90-95% number is accurate?
Let's assume that the number is accurate. That still leaves 5-10%. And that was in 1998. Saddam had 4 years without inspections to continue his work. So, we should just ignore that 5-10%?
Regarding his arguments about Israel, of course Mandela ignores the facts. It was the United Nations Security Council, in a 15-0 vote, that decided that Iraq,
not Israel, must disarm completely and immediately.
