>Come on, the IRA's sole goal is to unite Northern Ireland with Ireland. The money ain't coming from Portugal.
Actually, I think a lot of the money use to come from United States citizens. I haven't seen any allegations that the Irish government sponsors the IRA. Is that just speculation on your part?

>"The IRA reportedly has an arsenal of light arms as well as several tons of Semtex explosives, stored in secret locations across both parts of Ireland. Most of these weapons are thought to have been acquired from Libya in the mid-1980s; some came from IRA sympathizers in the United States."
I for one am completely against the IRA, and as you might guess from my last name, of Irish ancestory. You can count on the fact that the United States government does not support the IRA, nor will it accept any government that supports the IRA.
