I don't know about using Admin Tools, but if you want to have all your connections and definitions in one place (as a vcx for example) and call that file from all your programs and change as need it without affection anything else but that file.

What I was hoping to do was create an actual File DSN (using Windows Admin Tools), save that DSN somewhere on a server, and then reference that specific File DSN from within each of my VFP programs. That way, if anything changes with the DSN, I only have to change it in one place, rather than in multiple programs.
