Hi Ron,
There is a very good chance that VFP is, in this situation, losing track of which of thw two form objects is "thisform". It does not appear to occur until the second form is Show()n, so I truly suspect this is the problem.
Try setting
loForm = thisform
at the top of the code snippet and see if the same behavior occurs when referring to
loForm.lIsOkToSave.
