>How about IBuySpy in general? Are you happy with it?

Yes, I love the concept of modules. And the community of developers that have produced new modules is great. You can just "drag and drop" these things onto your web pages and it makes it really easy to modify the content and layout of the site. What I have done is keep the module concept but dropped their simplified data access layer and replaced it will a more robust business object layer. For a large enterprise clients, you have to go with content server or commerce server. IBuySpy is just for dinky little sites to get something going quickly.

It looks the Community starter kit will refine the concept of modules with a skins feature.

The company that made IBuySpy, Vertigo Software, is also coming out with the ASP.NET Starter kits. I recommend that you get your hands on any source code from Vertigo and pour through their examples. They really know how to demonstrate best practices. Also look at TaskVision on the www.windowsforms.net.
