>I was wondering if anyone knew how to browse tables always in my favourite font. I know this can be achieved by using browse font clause. But I do not want to do this. Is there any other method, like setting a preference in the resource table or something like that?

I don't know about any such preference.

Another alternative is to use the WINDOW clause. BROWSE will assume the attributes of the specified window.

OTOH, BROWSE NORMAL will avoid BROWSE from using the window that is currently on top. Perhaps this will give you acceptable results.

Finally, for the end-user, BROWSE should usually be avoided. Use grids instead.
