It's been a while since I played with the Kodak/Wang controls, but I'm pretty sure that you can coordinate the thumbnail and edit controls to select/display whatever page you want out of the TIFF.

The client likes multiple page TIFFs because they can stick a ten page document in the scanner and then it automatically saves all ten pages into one file. They wanted to change the 10 page TIFF into the one page JPG for size reasons but are happy to stick with the TIFF if that makes it easier to program.
