1. Here's a hint: Maybe the table isn't being opened exclusively just because you open the view like that. Try to check SET EXCLUSIVE before...

2. Maybe the DE is just closing what you open with it. That is: the DE is just opening the view and the view is opening the table. So? Do you clean others' mess?
