But as you guessed it needs to resolve file names outside of the VFP/DOS/WIN paths. In addition to that it may need to resolve program file names which are not included in any "OPEN" project. So it appears that it is back to the drawing board.

BTW I tried using the FoxTools

_EdGetEnv(lnWhandle, @aEnvironment)

but it only returns the justname() equivalent.
