Well, you can learn a lot there.
The way I understand these things work is that there is a legitimate site (
www.whitehouse.gov, in this case), and then the pornography business chooses similar names, hoping that somebody will mis-spell it. There are lots of cases like this. Another example is the famous magazine, CoDE. The official site is
www.code-magazine.com. Forget the hyphen, and you get a pleasant surprise. Or an unpleasant one, if somebody is watching you. (Some people might not believe your claim that you are merely doing a scientific investigation...)
