I have an application developed using English version of VFP6, planed to support DBCS.

The application runs well in Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese/English Windows machines. However, a problem goes up recently, one of my clients English machine can't get in the app., and prompts "Collating Sequence "PINYIN" is not found" (error 1915) when it try to open tables with indexes.

The environment of the particular client is mixed, they have all 3 kinds of language (as mentioned above) machines using the same app. After the problem occured, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese machinese can still use the app. normally.

I can solve this problem at the moment (by removing all .CDX and rebuild the indexes again). But I want to find out the possible cause behind this, and hope I can prevent it from happening again.

Could anybody give me some insight? TIA
