I have a problem running a 7.0sp1 application from a networked drive. Here's the setup:

User systems 2000 current SP, VFP7 SP1 and VFP6 current SP

The project and dependant files are the same between 6 and 7.
File distribution on NetDrive: and C:
runtime6.exe
VFP6ENU.DLL
VFP6R.DLL
FoxTools.fll
runtime7.exe
VFP7ENU.DLL
VFP7R.DLL

All of these files are in the same directory on the server.

From the explorer on a local machine:
VFP6 executable runs both locally and over the net.
VFP7 executable runs locally but not over the net
"Visual Foxpro Cannot Start. Could not load resources.. Press F1 for Help"

I can run if I place a copy of the VFP7.exe on the net and use a shortcut calling VFP and passing the application as a parameter but this seems to me to be a serious hack.

I have built on C: and copied to the NetDrive as well as built directly on the NetDrive.

I'm currently stumped. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dennis Keith
