That is the problem - client-server applications and VFP database are no-go technologies in enterpise development anymore: not scaleable, not menageable, not secure, etc. - in comparison with other technologies (Java, PHP, etc.).

The only way to VFP professionals to get back to the contemporary enterpise is to start serious web-based middle-tier programming with VFP MTDLL against SQLServer/MSDE/Oracle/DB2, etc. VFP MTDLL is very fast - we all know this - and we could sucecssfully compete with this approach on the enterpise arena.
