>And you really shouldn't make the mistake about my views on American government policies for being anti-American. The mass of opinion in the US may slowly be drifting towards Bush & his policies, but according to this mornings news - there are still around 52% of American who have anti-American views, opposing the current situation.
Len;
As you know we enjoy the Republican form of Democracy. That is we elect persons to represent us in our government. However, with the latest Administration we have a new Republican - Republican form of Democracy. No majority rule or mandate is required. It is still one man-one vote. However, the only person whose vote counts is GWB.
The train is on the tracks running full speed ahead towards that washed out bridge over a high canyon wall. GWB yells, “Can you go a little faster”? We do not want sanity – we want action!
Real Americans stand behind his/her elected leader. Everyone else is a communist – no, that is an obsolete term. How about an anti American? If you do not agree with the President then that should be considered a seditious act and you should be incarcerated. We do not want any dissidents saying things that are not in agreement with the party line. We are one nation under God, with liberty and justice – for some, sometimes.
