>According to yesterdays news, 52% of Americans are opposed to war at the current time, does that mean the majority of the country is anti-American. Maybe in being in opposition to the majority of the American peoples view, then Bush & the remaining 48% are the ones who are anti-American.

>Also in the news this week, Benjamin Netenyahu's nephew is facing court-marial this week for refusing to sign up to the mandatory conscription in Israel. He opposes the government's policy on actions against the Palestinians - does that make him anti-Israeli or just an opponent of government policy. (The Israeli military conscripted him by default, after his continual refusal to sign his conscription papers, it was the only way to court-martial him for refusal to sign his conscription papers. Israel effectively refuses to accept that conscientious objectors exist)

This just shows that Isreal is a democratic country where some disagree with the policies of the government. Can you imagine what would happen with a "nephew" of Sadam if he/she said they disagree with his policies?

My problem with your statements is that you equate palestinians _deliberately_ killing innocent people (specificially targeting children) with israely army killing civilians (unintentionally) when fighting armed terrorists. By the way, if you look in the history, when jews were fighting british for their independence and formation of their state, they, israelies, were also employing what was then called "terrorist" acts. But those acts were targeting british armed forces and not children.

And then you equate US helping Israel with Iraq paying off families of the homicide bombers, encouraging even more violence. This is an absurd comparison.
