My point is that because the code file expired, the VFP team could cause ANY error to pop up when you try to start it up. It really doesn't have to be the real reason!

Both VFP 7.0 and 8.0 have added items to the component gallery, what are you looking for? There are a number of "components" available here on the UT in the downloads area, and there are also 3rd party commponents available.
