Each language or application keeps track of its own variables. AFAIK, there is no such "global variable".

I understand you must use some other mechanism to exchange information. For instance, through Automation you can get the value of a cell.

If a saved Excel macro gives you constants which VFP doesn't understand, you can define them as constants in VFP. Search the download section for "constants".

Or are you trying to achieve something else?
