OK, in theory it should be "somehow possible" to write to a common area in memory, but I suspect this requires advanced knowledge of the operating system. And I am quite sure that this will not fit into the concept of a "variable". Variables are used only within a programming language: a variable is simply a shortcut, or name, for a memory location.
For us "mere mortals", it might be simpler to use Automation (as mentioned above), or to write to files on disk.
