>Fact: the article I posted is 100% accurate about WHAT THEY THINK. Whether you agree or disagree is irrelevant to what they think- and they'd write off anything you say as "biased, unreliable propaganda" just as you do about any source that does not support your position.

So what? Anyone can post WHAT THEY THINK. Presenting all the facts, are at least the most relevant is what matters... not just one side of the issue. I have run into articles written by conservative columnists who write one side of the issue. I quickly ignore those just as I do the liberal ones.

>IMHO we need less focus on our own "righteousness" and more on the sort of world we want for our kids. I shudder to think that my kids might face a fear of envelopes and subways because our generation is too stubborn to try to understand WHY these problems exist.

I want a world free of terrorism. Do you know that the primary reason Al Qaeda is attacking the U.S. is because we have troops in Saudi Arabia? Now, it was the Saudi government that asked us to be there. Why? Because of Saddam Hussein. For that we are attacked? Give me a break.

>As I said, refusal to show empathy = bad result whether you blow the cr*p out of SH or not. It will not be SH that opens the bio-weapon envelope in Times Square to join the ranks of the glorious. You must see that.

No, it won't be Saddam that opens the envelope. But it wasn't Bin Laden that flew those planes into the World Trade Center, was it?
