My apologies because you are correct. I discovered that the testing we did was with bmp files not gif files. We are currently using gif files so I assumed the tests also used gif files. I went back and did some more testing with VFP 8.0 beta and indeed the gif files do not display properly on Win2000 even with the gdiplus.dll installed.

So now I would also like to find the answer to this problem.
