>Yes, but, U got to go with what works. I remember back in the dark days of FP 2.x, MS would recommend this procedure when anything really strange occurred. In most cases, it is an error in source code (NOWAIT in this case I believe). I can only remeber re-installing FPW 2.x a couple of times because of corrupt DLLs and such. The August issue of PC Magizine had a very good article on OS decay. The moral of the story is to melt-down your PC yearly and do a complete re-install of everything. Of course, everyone has time for such activities. taul


really... i haven't found a problem yet that i couldn't work around, and most of the problems were my typing mistakes. haven't had to reinstall vfp (or 2.6/dos or windows) yet. sarcasm really isn't funny, is it?
