Yashodhan, not sure what version of VFP you have but check under Tools menu - Options - Forms tab. Look for Tab Ordering option. Also, when in form design mode have the Form Designer toolbar open. The first button is for setting tab order.

I think these options were available at least from VFP3 but cannot check as I do not have these older versions installed any more.
