>Libya? I hope not - Qadaffi may be a bit off his head (unlike I would suggest Saddam Hussein) but actually appears to be mellowing with age. My hope is that after Iraq (big war, kill lots) will be Iraq (reconstruction) and Israel/Palestine (bulldozer stopping, big pow-wows, imposition of two state process, reconstruction).
A lovely wish, but very UNlikely.
The cabal (Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle et. al.) have world power supremacy GUARANTEED and complete protection of "American interests" (read: OIL) as two of their primary objectives, cloaked in the 'desireability' to propogate democracy throughout the world.
Saudi Arabia and Iran are two MAJOR targets, though the order of which remains unclear. There are also the 'lesser' oil states that are monarchies. Those that continue to acquiesce to U.S. will will naturally be later in the list.
Some conjecture (I wish I kept the reference) that long-standing U.S. support for Israel has had more to do with retaining instability in the region that with benevolence towards Israel. Israel has no OIL and is but a speck of land and is an excellent place to test new military equipment.
I believe that the population of the U.S. would revolt if they knew what their administration was REALLY up to.
