What Network OS?
What RAM, HD size/type on the file server system?...How old is that system?
Are you confident that you built the VFP8 application correctly?... Am I correct to assume it is an EXE?
Is the file server system busy at all when this happens (even doing printing should be considered 'busy') or does it continue to happen if you ensure that the file server system is fully quiet, serving only the application in question?
Have you (can you) ensure that ALL attached systems - file server and workstations - have WRITE CACHE
DISABLED?
You confirm that you are NOT running the VFP public beta, but rather the final RC available from MSDN download?
