Hi,

I'm working through the tutorial in the book .NET for VFP developers (Chapter 9+) and I'm getting the same cryptic error message on two machines...

Here it is:

An unhandled exception of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException' occurred in system.windows.forms.dll

Additional information: System error.

I've tried changing the connection string to a *known* good connection string in the Data.cs file, but I still get the error. I can connect using the new string and view the data in the server explorer, but not when running the form.

I'm at the point in the project where you run the form and enter a Customer ID to look at the orders. The form loads and then the error appears. No data ever shows up and the customer ID field receives focus...

Any ideas?
