Thanks Cathi, that worked fine. I didn't know you were supposed to use Application.Run(frmForm) for the first form. I have been using ShowDialog in all of my applications for the first form. One interesting fact though, loading all the forms at the beginning of the application did not speed up the second appearance of a form if a listbox control needed to be loaded; however, if a list control does not need to be loaded it is considerably faster.
