I work from home a couple of days a week, and we may increase that in the future. There is a lot of good information at http://www.att.com/telework/get_started/ . It helped us set up what we think is a successful program. My boss already required daily status reports from us by email. We communicate by instant messaging or phone when we would normally talk face-to-face. I usually connect to my work computer using Remote Desktop, but sometimes do things on my local home computer. A high-speed connection is a must for working this way, but it is easiest. I don't have to transfer files back and forth every day.
