Friend of mine bought and today recevied VFP7. Ask me to install product because he is not an expert. He has installed some version of VFP7??? When I tried to remove that version and install VFP from original Microsoft CD (because of legal product key), I couldn't complete removal of VFP7 with system message

"Could not find file C:\windows\installer\28135.msi"

and removal procedure is stopped. Reinstalation from original CD works fine, but setup procedure never ask for product key and in registry is some other key.

How can I remove "old" version of VFP7 and install legal version entering valid product key? Is it solution to delete FOX folder manualy and try instalation procedure again?

Second question is that he doesn't know is service pack included in package? How can he view that?

Is it normal that he got MSDN version from july 2001 although package is shipped today???
