Windows Authentication requires that you're authenticated by the domain. You can connect to SQL Server while on the same machine because you're part of the local domain (the machine). How are you authenticating to the server (the machine hosting SQL Server)? What happens if you map a drive on the server?
You might find that it's easier if you us SQL Server Authentication in this scenario.

>I am trying to access a SQL Server database over a peer-to-peer network, where each of the machines is using XP-Home Ed. I am using MS Access as a front end, and when I put the front end on another machine 'not the developement machine' and try to connect, it fails to connect because of it is 'Not a trusted connection'.
