Hi,

This is what I would like to accomplish.

We have 2 servers. APP1 and DATA1

I used to log myself into the server using the \\APP1\ . I was able to access the server because I was a Domain Admin.

I have now removed myself from being the Domain Administrator but I am now unable to access the server in the previous manner.

I want to be able to access the server, perform updates on user machines...
as well as other administration features.

Are there a set of permission that I could apply to myself that would allow me to do this. I do not want to have Domain Administrator rights but would like similar functionality.

I belong to a group on Active Directory. Are there permissions that I could set on the group that might allow me to do this?

Any ideas?

Thank You,

Alvin
