Have you looked at AS2000's ROLAP functionality?

My company is looking into developing a thin-client app using AS 2000 & Sql Server as the basis for a web-based product. As we grow, we're considering migrating the RDBMS to something really big (i.e. TeraData). Could we continue to use the MDX code developed for the original app, running against a data warehouse in the non-MS DBMS without modifiying the MDX code?
