To add more precision to this, this has been the case since the security update and the exact hotfix is "Q815021: Security Update". So, in order to isolate the problem, as it's either that or the other installation I did, I am removing the hotfix. I'll keep you inform. In the meantime, if anyone discovers any suspicious activity in regards to that install, I'd like to know more about it.
