Thanks for the links. I tried using BringWindowToTop() instead of SetForegroundWindow() with no success. I've changed the order that I'm calling the functions and haven't been able to get it to work.

For now, I think I'm going to settle for popping up a messagebox instructing the user to check their task bar. I hate to do it, but I have to move on..
