Thanks very much for your reply, and sorry for the delay in replying. Been travelling, lately, so I have'nt been able to check my mail.

With regard to my code, I have now changed the platform where the code is executed, from vfp to excel direct (through a macro), and the errors have stopped ! I needed to create a table to export some vfp variables for excel to implement, and the problem seems resolved for the moment. As you were saying, excel is not compatible with a multi-user environment, and this multi instancing must have been creating the error.
