>Normally when we run SQL SPs we get a cursor with the fields created in the SP. When SP generates an hierarchical xml VFP gets results in the cursor with a single memo field that stores that xml. The only annoying thing is that a name of that field is based a GUID. Any idea why?

If you ran your query from QA you would see that SQL Server generates the name of XML result as prefix "XML_" + GUID.
