Nope you can't change it with a switch, but you can certainly STRTRAN() it
after the string is generated.
In fact that's part of what wwXML does these days - it allows you to specify the root node and the individual node names for each for top level elements. Underneath the hood it just calls CURSORTOXML() then...
It's much cleaner and can provide XML that fits a specific schema other than what VFP natively generates which is pretty limited if you need to interface with non-MS software.
