Yashodhan, the class vcx is actually a dbf file. You can try to open the .vcx file directly with VFP in the same way that you would open a normal table. You would need to set the file type to "All" if you want to browse to the file.
1) Make a copy of the .vcx and .vct file first.
2) Try to open the .vcx in exclusive mode and check its contents for corruption.
3) Do
not pack the file.
4) Try to COPY TO ... the file to a new filename and see if that recovers the missing form. After the copy rename the new .dbf to .vcx extention and rename the new .fpt to .vct extention. Then try to open this new class file in VFP and see if your form is there.
5) Try one of the following utility program to see if they can fix the problem:
ATFixDbfFpt 1.5a, all xBases supported. File #
9930and
Crashed tables rebuilder File #
9264and
FoxFix from XiTech -

Good luck.
>Hi everybody.
>I was working on the class form, which was the base class for all my forms. Suddenly power went off. After power came back, I started the PC. Now I cannot see this class in the class library. It’s vanished. Although I have a backup, it’s 1 week old. Is there any way I can get my class back?
>I will really appreciate if anybody can help me in this...
>Thanks.
