Well the ONLY reason that I went the MSDN route was because it was an e-bay cheaper than could be believed deal. My figuring is that it gives me 'perpetual' "like new" (my term) development licenses for all kinds of products including VFP8. I'll likely have to buy full VFP9 when it comes out, assuming after expiration of my MSDN subscription at Feb. next year.

The cheap deal I got was for the UNIVERSAL package, and IT IS LOADED!!! I'm really not familiar with the other lesser offerings, but I'd say it is worth investigating IF YOU NEED OTHER LICENSES TOO.
