I pulled up an old version of SDT (version 5.1) and created a new view. From the "Fields" tab, I select "Add All" - there is no '*' listed in the "Available Fields." When the view is created, it is a "SELECT *" view.
In the new version (6.1), unless I select the '*' from the "Available Fields", I don't get the "SELECT *" view.
No big deal - now that I know what I'm doing...
