Your response is kind of cryptic.
Are you trying to read the users emails from their AOL accounts so you can scan for certain information?
You can't get that type of information from the AOL client due to the way they handle their mail in a proprietary system. You would need to tell your clients to use a POP3 compatible mail server for this correspondence.
The POP3 component would then allow you to download mail and parse it for messages, and the SMTP component would allow you to send messages.
I would be happy to offer a more in depth solution if you want. Just be more specific and clear on your intent.
