Just follow the steps in my previous post:

"IF you are trying to make your application show as a specific Icon, set the Icon property of the Form in your application to the Icon you would like. Then make sure in the Project properties, go to the Make Tab and in the Application box, select the form with the Icon you want the program to have.
"

This will make your program appear in Explorer with the Icon of your choosing.

Simplified steps;

1. Set a the Icon property of a Form in your project to the icon you want shown in Explorer
2. Right click the project and choose properties.
3. Click the Make tab
4. In the Application Box, select the name of the Form you set the icon to in Step 1.
5. Hit OK.
6. Compile your project.

Your application will now have the Icon you want shown in Explorer.
