Hello all..

VFP 7 SP1
MS SQL Server 2000

I have a DBC with Remote Views defined in it using a DSN connection.
I have no problem connecting to the DSN, retreiving and updating data.
I can add,edit,delete records in the remote view, without issue.

The problem is when I try to index the view.
INDEX ON X TAG Y
I get the error "Cannot Update Cursor".

If I remove the database and rebuild the EXE, place the Database in the folder with the EXE, then run it, the indexing works.

Any ideas on how to build EXE with database and have the ability to index?
