Are the data properties among the grid properties you are setting? You need some something to refresh the grid before the show. If Refresh isn't enough, try GO RECNO('MyRecordSourceAlias') IN MyRecordSourceAlias, or if you have a LinkMaster property set, GO RECNO('MyLinkMaster') IN MyLinkMaster. Then issue Refresh.
