>Just curious as to how many of you charge when you have to travel to the client site. This is if you're charging hourly instead of flat fee.

Most of the work I do is within the city limits, or close by. Travel may take 1/2 - 1 hour. I try to include this in my hourly rate, rather than charge for travel time separately. That is, if the client is farther away, I try to charge a higher hourly rate, or insist on having sessions of a minimum of "x" hours.

The situation would be quite different if I had to visit clients in other cities.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
