Yes, I do trust the numbers reported by US news. Should I trust your "local" newspaper? At least I know what US agenda is in the war but I can only guess about the agenda of your source of information.

And even if the number you have are correct. Given the fact that we are in the war and so much fire power is used, the number of casualties show that a GREAT DEAL is being done by US military to minimize casualties.

I am sure Iraqies will use their own civilians as human shields, when the street fighting in Baghdad starts, and there will be more civilian casualties caused by Iraqi military than US troops.

>And you trust their numbers? The US military only tell what they want the US citizen to know.

>In my local newspaper today, they make mention of 5 civilians killed and 28 others injured by a US bomb in a raid at Al-Aazamya yesterday. That goes with a photo of a now-widow mother with her injured 3 years old daughter at a hospital.

>In the night of saturday, a US bomb in the residential area of Hayy Djamiya injured a 6 years old girl. She is now paraplegic.

>And the list goes on...

>>According to the news report today, there is one (!) civilian person killed in Bagdad, after thousands (!) of bombs
