4. Network and Dialup Connection
5. Local Area Connection
6. Local Area Connection Status - Properties
7. Local Area Connection Properties - Configure
8. Network Connection Properties - Configure - Power Management

What a trip! Now, is "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" checked? This could cause a problem is some cases.
