>Thanks for the info. I believe you have confirmed what I suspected. I could probably make it run in the main VFP window through brute force, but think I will p/u a copy of VB instead. This app is more about the interface than the data handling, but I thought I'd whip it out on VFP if I could due to familiarity.

Anytime, Bruce. FWIW, I think that, in this case, VB is probably a better choice.
