I realize there are ISPs that do support FoxPro and I use one for other sites. The point I want to make is how discouraging it is when your favorite development product's worst enemy is the owner of the product. I mean the Fox team tells VFP developers we should upgrade to support the product and Microsoft does everything possible to avoid informing any non-VFP customers about the product. In fact, they have intentionally discouraged their own customers from accepting the product as a legitimate development/database solution. It has got to be the most dysfunctional relationship in the entire software industry.

For instance, http://www.uplinkearth.com/ supports MS Access, MS SQL Server and MySQL databases. In fact, here's all the developer tools they do support but NOT VFP databases:

The development is for a non-profit dog shelter and they really don’t want to pay the extra $40.00 a month for SQL Server. This is why I’ve been getting into MySQL. It is included as part of the domain hosting package. I would much rather use VFP because it is so easy to manipulate the database during the proto-type and development phase. Well, it looks like one more installation for MySQL database.
