Thanks for the reply but it does not work either. Still getting the attachment inside the main body.

My original code was close to yours but without the .AttachmentName property being set (MegaFox said this was optional). One problem I have is that I don't have a copy of the help file for MAPI (mapi98.chm) on my computer or even the master VFP disk.
