Of those two articles, the first (Bowman) is better, though IMO naive. The second though (Goff) made me laugh out loud. If some 4th former wrote it as a school project, one would merely write it off with a D+. That this rabid invective could appeal to anyone without serious drug-induced paranoia is a cause for sadness ;-)
